Emily - Kid from Oregon!
Rachel - A woman of women!
Rex - Foul-mouthed conspirator!
Jason - Nice guy!
Sutton - Woman of awesome!
Let us begin then, shall we?
The Seven Deadly Sins
Lust: This one would be the excessive thought of sex and such, and, obviously, the best candidate for this one, like last time, is me. I love sex, honestly, as does everyone else, but for the fact that I have had sex with so many people, we gave me lust.
Gluttony: The over-consumption of anything to the point of waste, gluttony is actually divided into seven parts. For our purposes, we are using laute, eating too expensively, to apply to Rex. He is a fabulous cook and was a gourmet for a while, so the food he makes, and thusly eats, is extremely rich and could be sold for buckets at the finest of restaurants. Gluttony? According my my sources, yes!
Greed: This one was associated with gluttony, but for wealth in particular. And I thought it appropriate for the relation of gluttony to be a relation of Rex. Jason gets this one. While he really is not particularly greedy, Jason has a tendency to be a bit stingy, and he hoards like no other. And, according to my list, that is greed! Hooray!
Sloth: Contrary to popular belief, this is actually not being lazy, but was originally the sin of sadness and despair. These days, it is a sin of indifference, and, in religious, a sin of not loving God with all your heart. That in mind, I give this to Sutton. While she sometimes remembers, this woman sometimes forgets and takes for granted the amazing position she has raised to. And I'm pretty sure God is not number one to her. Sloth, Sutton, sloth.
Wrath: This is the only sin not associated with selfishness or self-interest, and is seen as a perversion of the love of justice, which I find fascinating. And if there was any doubt, Hanna gets this one. Hanna is an angry, ANGRY girl, and she has no qualms what so ever about seeking her own justice on everything and everyone she feels deserves it. Wrathful? God yes.
Envy: Another relation of greed, but this one for other's possessions, not their own. And I give this one to Rachel whole-heartedly. This is a woman who want it all, and if you have what she wants, beware. Because she knows where to find you, and chances are, she does not like you much.
Pride: Interestingly enough, in about every list imaginable, pride is considered the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins, and is the source from which the others arise. And that one I very happily give to Emily, a sin to which she willingly confesses to. And that just makes me giggle. Sorry, Emily!
Well, that was fun. Next, the Heavenly Virtues.
Chastity: This one is purity, the opposite of lust, and I give this one to Sutton. This is a pure, good woman, and is she perfectly chaste, well, no, not in the literal sense, but she is nearly as close as they come to it, and, quite frankly, it does not fit the only virgin on the list. Courage and boldness characterize this virtue, along with embracing moralwholesomeness and achieving purity of thought through education and betterment. And if that is what purity means, she wins it.
Abstinence: The virtue of self-control and the opposite of gluttony. And I give this to Jason. This is a controlled, reserved man who is constantly mindful of his and other's surroundings, and does most everything in moderation. This virtue is characterized abstention and self-control, both of which Jason has in excess.
Liberality: The virtue of will and generosity and the opposite of greed. I actually had a really hard time picking this one, but I settled on Rex. Despite his demeanor, Rex is an extremely generous person, and he has done several things in the name of charity for those less fortunate than himself. With his generosity is a willingness to give and a nobility of thought and action, which are defining characteristics of this virtue.
Diligence: The virtue of persistence and effort, and the opposite of sloth. Again, if there was any doubt, this goes to Hanna. This girl gets something in her mind and she follows that through until the very end. She is zealous and careful in her work with a decisive work ethic. Is Hanna diligent? Well, well, I think so!
Patience: The virtue of peace and opposite of wrath. I give this one directly to Emily. Forbearance and endurance through careful moderation, Emily resolves conflicts peacefully instead of resorting to violence. She has the ability to forgive and show mercy to those with moral transgressions, and she does that very well. Very patient, I think.
Kindness: The virtue of satisfaction, the opposite of envy. Everyone I have talked to voted me into this virtue. The characteristics of this virtue are charity, compassion, friendship, and sympathy without prejudice. I like to think I have those!
Humility: The virtue of bravery and modesty, the opposite of pride. This leaves us to give this one to Rachel, and despite her rather flashy lifestyle, she behaves modestly and selflessly, and has no trouble at all giving credit where credit is due. And she never unfairly glorifies herself, making Rachel a very good candidate for the humility box.
That is it, ladies and gentlemen!
